JACK NIGRO
Producer - Engineer - Songwriter
Based out of the NSW Central Coast, Jack Nigro has quickly become one of Australia’s most in-demand producers. Jack’s impressive portfolio continues to grow as he produces and mixes some of the country’s most exciting new talent, including The Terry’s, Pacific Avenue, Surf Trash, Rum Jungle, DICE, Sputnik Sweetheart, Totty, Vanilla Gorilla, Vacations, Crocodylus and Highline to name but a few.
Jack has worked alongside many of Australia’s leading music producers as the former in house engineer and Studio Manager at The Grove Studios. During this time, Jack has built engineering credits for hugely successful Australian acts including The DMA’s, Skegss, The Amity Afflcition, Dune Rats and Middle Kids.
With his extensive industry knowledge and experience, Jack has created his own unique production and mixing style whilst working with a wide range of artists and bands around the country. His intensive, collaborative approach ensures each artist he works with has their ideal vision brought to life.
In 2023, Jack designed and built his own commercial studio, Sonora Studios, where he has tailored his set up to best suit his production approach. Jack is now primarily based out of this space, whilst also continuing to work out of Studio 1 at The Grove Studios for particular projects or upon request.
Jack is also represented and managed by Isaac Lewis with Ripple Effect Group.
DYLAN BUTLER
In-house Engineer
Dylan Butler is the in-house engineer at Sonora Studios. With over 15 years of experience as a musician, Dylan has been immersed in the world of music, moving in and out of bands and studios for more than 13 years. His life revolves heavily around the art of music, and it is his greatest passion.
Dylan is the frontman of Central Coast band Tyrants which Dylan passionately utilizes as a fun and creative outlet for all his own original ideas and creative expressions.
Recently, Dylan has successfully completed an advanced diploma at The Grove Studios Academy, solidifying his expertise in sound engineering and production skills.
As part of the team at Sonora Studios, Dylan is excited to combine his passion for music with his technical expertise. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional recording experiences that elevate the studio's projects to new heights.
NICK CRAIG
Producer - Engineer - Songwriter
Nick is a young and up-and-coming producer, engineer, instrumentalist and songwriter reigning from Sydney. He is very passionate about bringing music to life and exploring new sounds along the way.
He has worked directly with bands and artists such as Fifth Dawn, The Causeway, Little Delilah, Ethan Beckton, Cøsmix, and + many more.
Nick has worked closely with and gained valuable experience from the likes of producer Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths) and Phil Anquitil (Ruel) + many more over the span of his career.
Working also as a session drummer and musical director, Nick has a lot of experience within the music industry and looks forward to working on your next project!
TOBY WElls
Producer - Engineer - Songwriter
Toby Wells is among some of the finest songwriters that the Central Coast has to offer. With over 10 years of professional experience as a musician/performer, Toby has opened the stage for a few of Australia’s biggest names such as Hockey Dad, Kyle Lionhart, Thirsty Merc, Hoodoo Guru’s and many more. Being high in demand as a guitar player has led to Toby performing at some of Australia’s biggest music festivals, sharing lineups with renowned world class acts. He continues to song write and perform with a wide range of artists from all genres. In recent years, Toby has shifted his attention to elevating artists by implementing his experience and expertise to produce quality recording. His collaborative and comprehensive approach to production allows him to cater to each individual client's needs whether it be recording/mixing, song writing or playing instruments.
Sound Space A, here at Sonora is quickly becoming Toby’s “home away from home” as he continues to expand his portfolio in this state of the art facility.
